The Naima Jacket is a fitted jacket for curvy women, drafted from the ground up on a curvy block rather than graded up from a standard size. That difference shows up exactly where jackets usually fail: the shoulder, the waist, and the hip.

Most jacket patterns give you a choice you shouldn’t have to make. Fit the shoulders and lose the waist. Fit the waist and lose the range of motion. Naima is shaped through the torso with princess seams front and back, and the waist seam sits where a curvy waist actually falls, so the flare over the hip is drafted in, not bolted on.
