Light to medium weight woven fabric such as cotton shirtings, cotton lawn, chambray, linen, cotton voile, double gauze, rayon crepe, rayon challis, and silk.

The Amira Top is loose fitted throughout the bust, waist and hips. The waist has the option for a belt.

Pattern Contents:

The PDF comes as files to print at home or at a copy shop. Files are delivered as a .zip file which can be downloaded on a computer, but not on a mobile device.

NOTE: There are separate layers for each size so you only have to print what you need.

I recently made the Amira Top using a double gauze fabric and I am pleased with how it came out. It was relatively easy to construct; however, I did look at the video which was helpful. Thank you for this easy yet elegant pattern.

They provide more variety than basic beginner patterns but are great for those with limited sewing knowledge. Some fitting knowledge is helpful, and the fabrics may vary slightly but remain beginner-friendly.

Intermediate:
These patterns offer more details and design complexity, such as zippers, topstitching, or a zipper fly. Projects in this category can take more than 7 hours to complete, so they’re ideal if you have more time and experience. Expect techniques like tailoring or unique construction details.
